HOW IT WORKS:
The end of the stick is made of a central pin with a spring around it. The battery, the switch, the buzzer (inside the base), the pin and the spring are connected together to create an electrical circuit. The stick acts as an additional switch on the circuit. When you touch the sides of the rail with the stick, the spring bends and touches the pin. This completes the circuit so that electricity can pass through the buzzer and operate.
